About Sara

Sara Rodriguez is a PANS/PANDAS mom of three and a dedicated caregiver advocate. She holds an MSW in Social Work and has completed specialized training with Green Cross and Dr. Nacho Jarero in acute community traumatic stress. She has also pursued advanced, evidence-based certifications, including Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma (National Center for PTSD), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development, the Adoption Competent Counselor program with Adoptions Together/C.A.S.E, and the Trauma-Focused CBT Program at the University of South Carolina. Her passion is supporting caregivers who are navigating trauma, stress, and grief, helping them feel understood, equipped, and less alone.
As an independently licensed clinical social worker, she uses her training and therapeutic experience to serve individuals and families with intention and care. She prioritizes creating a safe, compassionate environment where they feel heard and understood, while also equipping them—or their children—with practical skills they can apply in daily life.
As a person of faith, she is able and happy to integrate spirituality into the therapeutic process upon request. Her aim is that healing, connection, and hope continue to grow as a result of the work done together.
